How to activate your account for Sage Intacct for Education

The video below demonstrates how to activate your account for Sage Intacct for Education.

When you are added as a new user to Sage Intacct for Education, you will receive an email to activate your account which will include a Temporary Password along with a Company ID and User ID.

On the email, click the 'Sign in' and enter in the temporary password and both ID fields.

Enter your temporary password again and then create a brand new password for your log in, using the criteria on the right hand side. Select a security question and answer, then click Update.

You may then be required to set up 2 Factor Authentication. If you are, click NEXT and then you can select which method to use;

Authenticator - download the app and receive a code when required.

Text - Sage will send a text message with a 6 digit code on to verify.

Phone Call - receive a automated call to reveal the 6 digit code.

If you use the Text option, you will be required to amend the location code to United Kingdom and enter in a mobile number then select 'Send code'.

Having received the code, enter this in on the right hand side and click 'Verify' then Next.

You will get an option to set up a backup. You can continue the process or 'Set up later'.

This will take you to a confirmation page asking if you trust the device you are currently using.

If you 'Trust this device', you will be able to bypass the 2FA protocol. If you then use a different or new device, you would be prompted to enter in your 2FA details.

Now you will be able to log in to Sage Intacct for Education by using your Company ID, User ID and Password. These fields are case sensitive, any failed attempts to log in please check for caps lock.

This page can be bookmarked to allow quicker access to the system and dependent on your web browser permissions, you can potentially store your log in credentials.
